Job Description

  • Position Title: Head- Marketing                
  • Designation: Manager                
  • Reports to: Business Head, Ghana                
  • Function: Marketing                
  • Location: Accra, Ghana   

Function description
The incumbent will share the P & L Top line and Bottom-line with all the SBU's. He/she would be required to accurately estimate the demand for various products and services that WHG is offering to customers. He/she would also gather competitive information about other players and compare that with WHG. The candidate would study and develop suitable plans to meet or exceed the customer and consumer expectations. Finally the candidate would develop and execute the Market Communication, Public Relation Plan,  Brand Strategy, Digital Media Plan and ATL/BTL Campaigns.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Education : PG Diploma or MBA (Marketing)                    
  • Functional Experience: Should be exposed to various areas of Sales and Marketing including channel management, trade schemes, communication plans and consumer analysis.                                       
  • Years of Experience: The incumbent should have a minimum of 8-10 years of work experience in brand and/or product management with at least 4 years experience in sales. Exposure to rural marketing will be preferred; Experience in Sales and Distribution would be an added advantage. Candidate from consumer product industry will be preferred.                    

Next Level:   The incumbent could grow into the Leadership role of General Manager Marketing
