Job Description

• Build and manage client data base - existing & potential clients.
• Build Sales pipeline of businesses and clients.
• Build strategic business partnerships with relevant institutions both in country and international for sales leads & development.
• Lead in product/service developments & other tailor made services/products attractive to targeted clients/market segments.
• Develop a lot of businesses in the private sector space/industry for the hotel.
• Place the hotel on the digital marketing space.
• Periodically create programs /activities that would attract guests/clients to all revenue centres of the hotel.
• Build partnerships and networks with media to boost programs & activities at the hotel.
• Develop top of the mind brand awareness of AHL amongst clients such that the hotel becomes first choice destination for conferences & other services.
• Build networks with marketing agencies & trade associations.
• Build database of suppliers of marketing blue prints, brochures and other sales promotional campaigns.
• Organise talk shows & participate in trade shows, awards programs to showcase the hotel.
• Build marketing video and other presentations materials for the hotel.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum qualification of a degree in Marketing from a recognised university or CIM Level III or relevant equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
• At least three years full-time working experience.
• Must be computer literate.
• Experience in Hospitality Marketing is an advantage.
