Job Description

Position Summary:

• Responsible for the coordination, delivery, documentation and evaluation of clinical learning and development activities for a network of Sanford International Clinics.
• Learning and development activities include onboarding, continuous professional development, skills development and competency validation.
• Continuously monitors and evaluates all activities within the network related to learning and development needs.
• Reports to Director of Network Operations with an indirect report to SIC-G Corporate Clinical Education Program Manager.
• Staff education will be provided onsite and remotely.
• Provides clinical expertise to existing service provision and proposed new service lines.  
• Researches and/or is knowledgeable of clinical best practices and standard treatment guidelines.
• Must have strong clinical skills and be seen as a role model and leader to others regarding these skills.
• Must have capable organization, coordination and mentoring skills. Must be self-directed and demonstrate accountability for the completion of learning and development initiatives and projects.
• Must be able to facilitate group process, utilize adult learning principles and a variety of learning methods to accommodate learner needs.
• Must incorporate site cultural and development factors into the implementation of learning programs.
• Must be able to analyze and synthesize data to assess and evaluate learning programs. By observation and data analysis, identifies clinical quality gaps and participates in development of quality improvement plan.  
• Must be able to manage conflicts and negotiate issues to a satisfactory resolution.

Required Credentials (Licensure, Certification, or Registration):

Active PIN and Valid registration/Licensing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.

Required Skills or Experience

• Registered Nurse with diploma is required, degree is preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited training institution.
• 3 years of experience as an RN is required.
• Prior experience in clinical leadership, education or program management helpful.
