Job Description

The Human Resource Manager is to see to the overall functioning of the Human resource base of the organization by maintaining records of recruitment, performance and disciplinary actions as well as staff motivation. He shall report to the Chief Executive Officer. He/she will

The position is open for Three(3) Months

  • Design and develop a comprehensive Human Resource Work Book/ Hand Book for all category of Staff
  • Do a comparative study of other similar organization and their HR Policy
  • See to the Implementation of the HR Hand book
  • Compare the existing HR Policy with the Labour law and other statutory documents for compliance.
  • Prepare and report to the CEO on regular basis
  • Take part in Performance appraisal procedure of staff
  • Be part of the strategic decision definition

Required Skills or Experience

The successful candidate should have 

  • A minimum of Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management 
  • Practical experience in Human Resource management for at least three(3) years
  • Good command of MS Office package
  • Ability to work in rural and urban communities
  • knowledge of Twi, Ga/Dangme and/ or Ewe  
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of the immigration laws and regulations of Ghana
  • Conversant with the Ghana Labour Act and other laws relating to labour in Ghana
  • Excellent professional writing skills
  • Demonstrate good professional boundaries
  • Demonstrate a non judgemental and non-bias attitude
  • Inclusive of all different ethnic groups, religious beliefs and alternative lifestyles
  • Can remain calm under pressure and meet necessary deadlines as needed
