Our client is a renowned multinational company and major player in various sectors in selected African and Asian countries. Our client is currently in the process of expanding its operations and is seeking to engage globally minded and experienced individuals with successful track record in the specific fields to manage the affairs of the company.

Job Description

Our client is a renowned multinational company with subsidiaries in Ghana.

Their focused operational areas include; hospitality, Public health and safety, Skill development, Oil and Gas, Software, transport , financial services, communications and ICT, Agribusiness and Real Estate.

Our client is currently in the process of expanding its operations and is seeking to engage globally minded and experienced individuals with successful track record in the specific fields to manage the affairs of the company. Applications are invited from Ghanaian and non –Ghanaian citizens with experience for the specific positions before end of July, 2015. The location for all the positions is Accra, Ghana with possible and frequent travels in- country and abroad.

General Manager (4 positions) - Energy, Hospitality, construction and Recycling of Plastics

The General Manager will be responsible for the effective running of the Group businesses including all executive management matters affecting the Group.

Scope of work includes chairing board meetings and monitoring the implementation of approved strategy and objectives to ensure compliance.

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent decision making based on thorough analysis and problem solving skills.
Well-developed strategic orientation with ability to identify opportunities, anticipate future consequences and trends in a fast/dynamic competitive market.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of global issues and its impact on the economy and the Group’s business operations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent negotiation, networking and conflict management skills.
Very strong entrepreneurial spirit with innovative and creative skills.
High level of maturity and ability to inspire confidence and motivate staff to be result-oriented.
Excellent Leadership, managerial, coaching, mentoring, counselling and interpersonal skills in a team setting.

Required Skills or Experience

Masters Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Project/Operations Management, Business Administration or related field.
Must be a member of a recognised professional body.
Fifteen (15) years relevant post qualification experience in assigned field with at least 7 years in senior management role.
