Job Description

A Sales Executive is responsible for selling company’s products to customers. She/he has quarterly targets to meet and may be assigned to a specific account or business unit. The Sales Executive identifies and meets potential clients, understands their needs, creates solutions to persuade them to sign agreements and, finally, ensures them the service they want. Details have been outlined in tables below;

 Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities 

Planning & Analysis 

  • Receive monthly sales targets from supervisor.
  • Submit report to management on weekly and monthly basis.
  • Conduct market research, interpret trends and understand the needs of the community and clients.
  • Conduct research aimed at obtaining market data and exploring new opportunities in order to prepare relevant sales proposals.
  • Collect contacts and information before approaching a potential client.
  • Prepare winning presentations and meet potential clients.
  • Advice and propose to management new business opportunities that the company should venture into.

Partnership Development

  • Establish new contacts.
  • Develop winning proposal in line with the media brand and the client’s expectation.
  • Present the company products and partnership proposal to potential clients and persuade them to sign.

Account and Service Management

  • Persuade past customers to establish new relationship
  • Cooperate with Client Service Department in order to ensure a proper customer care to all clients.
  • Maintain existing accounts and fulfill customers’ expectations.
  • Keep accurate record of customers’ information (e.g. database of current and prospective clients).
  • Be able to collect clients’ payment on time.

Sales and Marketing Materials

  • Develops effective sales and marketing materials (presentations, documents, videos, reports, etc.).
  • Develop and present winning proposal for client adoption.
  • Propose marketing and promotional ideas to the Head of Sales or Supervisor
