• Job Position    Software Development Lead
• Sector     GIS Project
• Location: Ghana

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Join a team to design and develop next generation GIS related products.
• Design and develop a software product, including designing cutting-edge algorithms.
• Gather, understand and refine product specifications by talking to product managers and customers.
• Work in a collaborative atmosphere, mentoring software engineers.
• Work with end-users and other members of the development team.
• Conduct regular unit and system tests of the product.

SPECIFIC  SKILLS

• Experience in product development.
• Experience in .NET, memory management, collections, IO, design patterns, algorithms, pooling and exceptions.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with SQL and RDBMS (at least 1 DB)
• Must have used at least 1 application server.
• Must have used at least 1 .NET framework.
• Knowledge and application of design patterns is mandatory.
• Solid managerial, coaching and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work effectively with all categories of employees.                     

Required Skills or Experience

Educational Qualification

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
•  PMP certification is an added advantage.

Work Experience

• Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in a similar position on GIS software
