Job Description

  • Due to the award of a mine development contract at Ahafo for the Subika Underground Mine and subject to Newmont's Board final approval, AUMS is seeking expressions of interest for up-coming work in Ghana from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following role  : Underground Maintenance Trainers
  • As an experienced underground Maintenance Trainer, you will be responsible for training personnel to a high standard

Required Skills or Experience

As an experienced underground Maintenance Trainer, you must demonstrate exposure to the following. 

  • Hydraulics diagnostics and repair. 
  • Auto-electrical diagnostics and repair.
  • Atlas Copco MT 6020 trucks. 
  • CAT R2900 LHD. 
  • CAT 12K Grader. 
  • Late generation SANDVIK equipment such as:
    • DD421 Jumbo - DL421 Longhole 
    • DS421 Cable Bolter - TH663 Truck 
    • LH621 LHD - DU311 ITH Drill
