Job Description

An International school in the Achimota area seeks the services of a  Year 1 teacher with great experience.

Statement of Duties:

• Responsible for instructional and general duties as indicated by the Principal, Supervisors and directives of  his or her Boss, and policies of the School
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of subject matter and pedagogy it requires.
• Knowledge of the developmental levels of students in the classroom and the different ways these students learn
• Ability to develop well-structured lessons with challenging, measurable objectives and appropriate student engagement strategies, pacing, sequence, activities, materials, resources, technologies, and grouping.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records  and administrative regulations

Required Skills or Experience

• Degree in Education or Teacher Training Cert A is a plus
• Previous experience as a lower primary teacher
• Montossori Training experience for preschool teachers is a plus
• Minimum of 4 years experience
