Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise, teach and educate nurses of other ranks under your care
• Any other assigned duty such as preparing nurses duty rosters etc.
• Give patients and other clients priority
• Timely reports and monitoring of patients
• Advice employees and their dependants on health matters within prescribed limits
• Assign and review work of Nurse Aides
• Perform assigned task as mutually set with the Matron/ Deputy Matron
• Efficient delivery of pregnant patients using the pathography

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY

• Efficient performance of Approved Midwifery / Nursing Procedures to meet approved standards.
• Effective administration of treatment / drugs within prescribed limit
• Provision of timely, accurate assessment report on patients
• Provision of quality nursing / material care
• Responsible handling of patients / company information
• Timely quality report on your subordinates
• Responding to all emergency calls
• Perform any other miscellaneous duties as may be directed by management.
