Job Description

A reputable company in the alcoholic beverage industry in Accra requires the service of a Sales Manager
  • Location : Accra
  • Reports to : Marketing Manager
 
Purpose of Job
This role is for the sales and distribution of  alcoholic beverages.
 
Duties include but not limited to:
  1. Ensure product visibility and availability within every targeted outlet.
  2. Facilitate sales of products at the sub distributor and retailer level
  3. Exploring new ways to increase sales volume.
  4. The ideal candidate should be self motivated, target driven, innovative with an excellent  track record in selling premium alcoholic beverages.
  5. Maintain a positive attitude and display a professional conduct with high levels of integrity 
  6. Complete weekly calls to solicit new and untapped business leads within specified market segments. 
  7. Assists the Marketing Manager in the development of new sales campaigns in an effort to obtain additional sales from the various market niches. 
  8. Generate consistent retailer and semi-wholesaler customer database and monthly reports as outlined by the Marketing manager.
  9. Flexibility.  Must anticipate some scheduled weekend and evening hours. 
  10. Must have the ability to work as a team as well as work independently.
  11. Achieve Sales Targets
  12. Prepare weekly and monthly sales report
  13. Report to the Marketing Manager on all issues 

Required Skills or Experience

  • First degree or HND with over 5years management experience in a similar role.
  • Must not be more than 40 years old.
