Job Description

Are you a young graduate who has a first degree and have completed National Service? Do you possess the passion and energy for a sales and marketing job?  A leading Savings and Loan Company in Ghana intends to grow its market leadership in the provision of financial services and has job openings for Sales and Relationship Officer Roles. 

 

Job Purpose
The purpose of this job is to sell the banks products and services to prospective clients and maintain client’s relationships.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to the following:

  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry. 
  • Sells the banks products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions.
  • Manage client relationship for high net worth and SME customers on both savings and current accounts.
  • Create accounts for new client and introduce more products to existing clients. 
  • Grow the client base, deposits, and profits.
  • Promotes and cross sell the bank products and services as appropriate to customer requirements.
  • Sets up a customer feedback channel and reports to the branch Manager
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities, recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university or college.
  • 1-2 years’ work experience in a service oriented, banking or similar industry or background.
  • Has the ability to do impactful presentations.
  • Ability to manage client relationships, emphasizing on excellence.
  • High energy level with strong negotiation and prospecting skills.
  • Ability to meet sales targets.  
  • Must be creative and motivation to do sales.
  • Be astute in figuring out customer needs while speaking to the customer.
  • Should be good at convincing customers.
  • Must be quick to learn the bank’s products and Services.
