Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Administrative  Assistant is responsible  for a variety of administrative duties including providing support to our Managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing the company’s general administrative duties.

Day to day activities include:

  • Maintaining  records and files 
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment 
  • Manage office correspondence and mail
  • Prepare official letters, memos and other documents as may be needed
  • Supervise provision of cleaning services
  • Handle Local and foreign travel arrangements 
  • Provide general administrative services to customers and employees
  • Keep record of company assets
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs of company vehicles 
  • Host official visitors 
  • Provide Human Resource support for recruitment , health care,  training and development etc
  • Coordinate deliveries to customers 

Required Skills or Experience

  • QUALIFICATION: 1st degree or HND in the area of Humanities, Social Sciences, Administration, Accountancy or Secretarial Studies.
  • EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar role

KNOWLEDGE
The candidate  must have proficient knowledge in Office administrative procedure and policies

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • The candidate  must demonstrate the following skills and abilities
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent  inter personal skills and organizational skills
  • Effective communications skills
  • Knowledge of Visa / travel processes
  • Computer skills including the ability to operate spreadsheet  and word- processing  programs and fast typing skills
