Job Description

The Centre for Plant Medicine Research, Mampong-Akuapem is an agency under the Ministry of Health with a mandate to undertake Research and Development into plant medicine.

DUTIES

Research into plant systematics and cultivation,
Identification and cultivation of specific medicinal plants species
Conservation of medicinal plants species in the arboreta i
Sourcing of medicinal plants species from the Wild and supervise plant parts inspection
Quality assurance for the production of medicinal plant products.
Ensure appropriate documentation and management of research data.
Disseminate Research findings.
Any other duties assigned by the Executive Director.

SALARY AND CONDITION OF SERVICE

Shall be subjected to the Single Spine Salary Structure and conditions of Senior Officers of the Centre.

Required Skills or Experience

PhD or M.Phil in Botany with a minimum of two (2) years post qualification experience.
