Reports to: Head of Accounts

Primary Job Location: Tema, Ghana

General Function

• Performs a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions in an organization.

Scope of Job

• Shall operate as the key accounts officer for the manufacturing and sales divisions of the Pallion Structural Accessories Manufacturing Company.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Accounts in month end reporting procedures
• Process accounts payables and receivables as needed
• Perform filing and general administrative tasks
• Maintains accounting databases by entering data into
• Prepare and submit customer invoices
• Code, post and receipt payments
• Prepare and coordinate deposit activities
• Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations under the supervision of the Head of Accounts
• Assist in filing returns for monthly VAT, PAYE & SSNIT returns.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• HND in Accounting from a recognized institution, AAT Qualification, ACCA Part 1 (completed), ICA Part 1 (completed), or any other equivalent qualification.
• Two years working experience in a similar role.
