• Ensure staff and Board have sufficient and up-to-date information
• Look to the future for change opportunities
• Interface between Board and employees
• Formulate policies and planning recommendations to the Board
• Decide or guide courses of action in operations by staff
• Oversee operations of organization
• Implement plans
• Assure the organization and its mission, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
• Control the direction of the company
• Identify risks and ensures appropriate strategies are in place
• Drive profitability of the business

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of a Masters or PHD in any of the fields below, Business Administration, Marketing, Management or Finance
• Minimum of Seven Years experience in Business, Finance, Administration, Marketing and Management with a proven track record of success in managing a financial institution

• Excellent organizational, managerial, research, strategic planning and analytical skills
• Proficiency in all relevant personal computer applications, ability to learn and work with a bespoke database and good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel
• Outstanding communication, public speaking and presentation skills
• Experience in budgeting and financial reporting
• Energetic personality with excellent negotiation skills
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
• Outstanding imagination and attention to detail
• Ability to create and maintain accurate paper record
