As a philanthropy support organization, we work to strengthen the capacities of not for profit organizations and networks; developing knowledge products through cutting edge research and building social action partnerships with public and private corporations in aid of increasing the visibility and ability of non-profit organizations to leverage resources to support their activities. Through research, we scale up approaches that work, disseminate learning and best practices, and convening stakeholders to promote broader collaboration and impact.

Job Description

The National Philanthropy Forum seeks to engage development oriented and patrotic individuals on voluntary basis to asssist in establishing our regional programs.

Position Areas:

  • Regional Program Support Officers-(must be leaving in the 10 region)
  • Researchers

Important Dates

Regional Training & Oreintation: June 6th,  Kumasi (Middle Zone) / June 8th Tamale ( Northern Zone)

Duration of Task: 3 months with possible extension.

Main duties

  • Assist in developing programs jointly with the regional Philanthropy host organization.
  • Fascilitate the formation of Community Philanthropy clubs and Endowment Funds
  • Assist in assessing award nominees from the region
  • Identify stakeholders, ie companies, chiefs and community elders
  • Meet with sponsors and organizing committee to plan scope and format of events, to establish and monitor budgets and to review administrative procedures and progress of events.

Note: These tasks could be performed from independently home and also on a parttime basis.

Required Skills or Experience
