Introduction

We are a reputable Fashion company in Accra seeking to employ a performance driven and a goal oriented E – Commerce Officer. The successful candidate shall be responsible for all e- commerce activities, oversees channel development strategies, web architecture and infrastructure requirements and collaboration of information technology, sales and e – commerce business strategies.’’

PURPOSE

To provide effective technical support in the marketing and selling of products online, as well as participating in the general formulation and implementation of marketing and selling strategies for the online company.

JOB DESCRIPTION

To assist in maintaining and administering the online store, working with developers in ensuring the effective functioning of website: Payments systems, ordering systems, display systems etc.
Assist in updating and uploading online store: Write ups, promotional banners and new pictures
Assist in monitoring and evaluating the activities of online shoppers
Ensure marketing and selling of products of the company through social media: Facebook, Tweeter, and Instagram.
Uploading corporate write – ups, implementing social marketing techniques etc.
Work closely with the marketing director, sales coordinator, systems administrator
Liase with designers, sourcing officer in determining the specifications of products needed for the online mall
Keeping and managing products and ensuring that stocks are well kept.
Manage banking transactions for the direct sales area on a daily basis and liaise with finance / audit department for any discrepancies.
Perform any other duties assigned by Online Manager / Management

Required Skills or Experience

Have experience working in ecommerce (preferable)
Proven understanding of functions of online store management and direct sales.
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple computerized packages.
The ability to acquire a broad knowledge of the product range is an advantage.
You enjoy solving problems and strive for results
Demonstrated experience working autonomously and part of a team.
Sound user of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn and adopt new software where needed.

Required Skills or Experience

Degree in marketing plus IT skills
At least 3 years’ sales and marketing experience in online sales
Performance driven & goal oriented
Ability to meet weekly and monthly targets
Creative and good presentation skills
Sales Planning and independence
Good oral and written communication skills
Good computer skills
Ability to work effectively in a team
Self-motivated and outgoing
Attention to detail.
