Job Description

• Monitor all sub-activities for the department and maintain records of all expenses and control all costs for the department and recommend ways to increase efficiency.
• Design all housekeeping policies and procedures according to required standards and schedule all rotational duty for staff
• Maintain safety and hygiene and perform all appraisals for staff regularly and coordinate with various maintenance staff and front office staff
• Administer all housekeeping and all laundry facilities and ensure secure environment for all guest
• Schedule all work for weekends and evening hours and assist management on duty to prepare schedules for staff and organize an efficient everyday care of all buildings and public area and ensure cleanliness of all office area efficiently.
• Monitor and ensure response to all client requests and maintain company standards in all work at all times.
• Administer efficient working of all housekeeping department at all times and supervise all work and ensure compliance to all operational standards and organization regulations.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly housekeeping management reports

Required Skills or Experience

• Must have experience in managerial / supervisory role
• Must have not less than 3 years working experience as an executive housekeeper in full time hotel.
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Problem solving skills
• Customer service orientated
• Must have an HND in hotel management / a first degree from a reputable university or equivalent professional qualification
• Must excellent customer relation
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work with or without supervision 
• Living in and around Adenta/ Dodowa and its environ is an advantage
