• Job Title: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
• Job Location:  Eastern Region/Kwahu
• Employment Type: Fixed Term (Renewable)
• Report To: General Manager

Job Brief

• Position responsible for all the food and beverage operations, which includes all culinary, restaurant, and beverage.
• Oversees guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining standards and meeting or exceeding financial goals.
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of all applicable food and beverage laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement business plan for food and beverage.

Job responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations of the department to ensure maximum customer delivery.
• Assists in monitoring the profitability of functions to ensure quality and portion control while minimizing waste
• Review monthly profit and loss statement and prepare action plans for improvement as necessary
• Treat guests, associates, vendors and co-workers with professionalism at all times
• Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction of the Food&Beverages operations
• Maintain high standards of food &beverage quality, service&marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
• Ensure par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory ,ordering, and retrieving supplies

Required Skills or Experience

• Must have two (2) or more years’ of Food and Beverage supervisory experience required.
• Prior experience working in a restaurant environment
• Hotel experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A Bachelor’s degree required. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
• Must have intermediate skills with Microsoft office products
