Job Description

A renowned hotel is looking for a General Manager

  • Job Location: Kwahu/Eastern Region
  • Employment Type: Fixed Term (Renewable)
  • Report To: General Manager, Operations

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage Budgets.
  • Maintain financial records to aid decision making.
  • Plan maintenance work, events and room booking.
  • Handle customer/employee complaints and queries.
  • Promote and market the business.
  • Provide training on changes in services.
  • Work with security officers to promote a safe atmosphere for guests and staff.
  • Oversee beverage and food operations for events and individual guests.
  • Provide input on strategic decisions to develop the business.

Required Skills or Experience

  • A Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in the hospitality industry.
  • 3 years’ experience in a hotel managerial role
  • Conversant with hotel management software.
  • Exceptional communication skills
