A reputable private firm (Water and Environmental Engineers & Scientists) seeks to employ a committed and hardworking individual with a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field for the position of: Environmentalist / Environmental Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and Reporting;
• Preparation of Environment & Social Management Plans and Frameworks;
• Stakeholders Engagement and Public Consultations;
• Environmental Sampling and Monitoring; and
• Resettlement related Studies.

Required Skills or Experience

Competencies

• knowledge and ability to apply principles of project management and supervision;
• Knowledge of local and international environmental policies and procedures;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Good Coaching Skills;
• Problem Solving Skills;
• Must have good communication and reporting skills;
• Should be computer literate; and
• Should be able to uphold confidentiality.

Experience

• Must have between two (2) to five (5) years post graduate experience in the field of study.
