Job Description

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of water transmission and treatment facilities within the parameters established.   

The position report to the Production Superintendent and the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervise  effective maintenance of all water purifying equipments in the plant;
• Ensure compliance to all local laws and regulations;
• Train and supervise efficient working of staff, maintain and perform tests on various plant equipments;
• Monitor and Interpret all chart and graphs for test results and monitor treatment process of all water plants according to quality standards;
• Analyze reports and communicate poor quality to supervisor;
• Maintain and update accurate records for treatment process and log deliveries for same;
• Prepare and document all data for treatment facility for raw water and high service pump stations;
• Prepare and submit report for smooth functioning of the plant operations; and
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time.

Required Skills or Experience

The successful applicant must possess Water Quality Management Degree/Certificate or its equivalent with 5 years professional work experience in Palm Oil Processing Mill with at least 3 years recent experience in a similar role.  (Knowledge in the following areas will be an advantage: treating River water, operating Softeners, Operating DM plant and water analysis).
