• Job Title: Scholarship Program Manager  
• Job Location:  Eastern Region/Kwahu
• Employment Type: Fixed Term (Renewable)
• Report To: Program Manager, Social Intervention

Job Brief  
Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, Social Intervention, this position is responsible for assigned scholarship program functions in an accurate and timely manner. This position will also provide support to other staff when necessary.

Scholarship Program Manager responsibilities:  

• Ensure adherence with stakeholder regulations and guidance from team members in the management of the scholarship application and selection process.
• Recommend policies, develop procedures and management tools to facilitate the scholarship application process
• Manage the application intake and review
• Oversee and maintain scholarship online applications
• Work closely with Finance/Accounts Team on scholarship distributions
• Maintain schedule of deadline to ensure tasks are done in a timely and efficient manner.
• Participate in scholarship committee meetings as needed
• Schedule and conduct development seminars as may arise.
• Responsible for database records management for students
• Submit weekly reports on developments of scholarship program
• Perform any other duties as may arise

Required Skills or Experience

• Master’s Degree in Project Management/Development studies/ Education or any other relevant field
• Minimum of 3-5years experience in a Managerial role with a track record of executed projects
• Skilled in partnering with relevant instutions&authorities, both international and local NGO’s to enhance the mission and vision of the organization
• Ability to develop tangible and insightful programs
• Strong project management and financial analysis skills
• Ability to structure complex tasks and translate targets into work plan
• Track record of building strong stakeholder relationships
