Job Description

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent leadership for the Geological team
• Plan the exploration program and execute(with the inputs of the mining engineer)
• Provide direction for bulk sampling and report findings
• Generate field Maps and other Geological maps as required
• Analyze and interpretate geological data
• Locate and estimate probable and measured gold deposit
• Institute proper grade control for planned and acceptable recovery
• Report all activities to the production manager

Required Skills or Experience

• Degree in Geology or its equivalent areas
• Must be able to operate data mining software(map info, autocad, surpack, arc GIS)
• Minimum of Five (5) years in alluvial mining
• Knowledgeable in reserve estimation
• Knowledgeable in Health and Safety precautions
• Must have good Communication skills,.
