Job Description

A Reputable Life Assurance Company is seeking to engage the services of Sales Manager for several regional branches.
  • Locations: Accra, Kasoa, Sunyani and Kumasi
  • Reports Directly To: Branch Manager
  • Direct Reports: Sales Executives

 

JOB PURPOSE
Sales of Insurance Products
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages the sales of the company’s products and services in within all geographic areas.
  • Supporting franchises to develop business objectives and annual budgets.
  • Coaches sales agents on how to manage income and expenditure, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Identifies and harnessing new client opportunities, while retaining and upgrading existing customer base. 
  • Builds strong relationships with key clients of the sales agents and maintaining an accurate database on their clients.
  • Ensures that the sales agents operate within the specified operating procedures and maintains integrity of DLCL.
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, surveying consumer needs and trends, tracking competitors.
  • Liaises with the other business teams in ensuring service excellence and flawless implementation of promotional programs. 
  • Ensures timely review and submission of reports to the appropriate authorities; weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • General duties Any other duties that may be assigned.
LEVEL OF AUTHORITY
Directly supervises Sales Agents and must consult with Head, Distribution
