Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research:
- Literature review: Leverage online/offline databases to find information pertinent to the organization’s needs around a specific topic
- Development: Research and evaluate potential projects/initiatives, funding sources, vendors, etc.
- Data collection: Create and distribute surveys
- Database management: Collect, maintain, and analyze large amounts of data
- Web, Social Media and IT Management
- Manage relevant website content
- Create and grow social media presence/profiles
- Maintain, post and, update social media profiles such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube with appropriate and appealing content
- Assist with web/social media analytics, reporting, loading/producing stories/graphics and moderating interactions.
- Provide technical backstopping and support on information system deployment initiatives.
- Creative and Communication
- Present information to stakeholder groups (internal/external) through presentations, reports, memos, info sheets, etc.
- Editing: written materials to provide coverage notes and edits for informative products
- Content Creation: develop creative content, articles, publicity materials and multimedia production (video, audio & animation)
- Design: Graphic design of publicity materials (fliers, posts, promotional items impressions, etc.)
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills or Experience
- Advanced knowledge of popular social media platforms from a brand perspective
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized
- Ability to project prioritize and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in marketing or related field of study
- Minimum over all GPA of 3.0
- Must be willing to work long hours and weekends
