Job Description

Our client, an IT software solution is looking to hire an IT officer to provide IT support to their operations in Ghana.

Role Profile

The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding of hardware, software, operating systems and basic computer programming and internet applications. The position will also demand the candidate to install, configure computer hardware operating systems, software, systems, and networks.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Broad understanding of hardware, software, operating systems and basic computer programming and internet applications.
• Install, configure computer hardware operating systems, software, systems, and networks.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Resolve network issues.
• Set up, configure and maintain computer systems, issue password and log in accounts.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems.
• Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair faults and set up systems.
• Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Upgrade IT equipment and software systems and applications.
• Perform any and all IT duties required by the company.

Required Skills or Experience

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or any of its related field.
• 1 - 3 years working experience.
• Driver’s license is an advantage
