Job Description

1. Management of a variety of out grower projects.
2. Demonstrate new and existing crop varieties using commercial input packages to different interested parties, including farmers, processors, commodity buyers, and NGO and government representatives.
3. Responsible for developing and managing key relationships in the country, including with project sponsors, entrepreneurs, contractors and government stakeholders.
4. Develop, present, and implement the strategic vision, goals, and objectives of the program in line with the overall strategy and objectives
5. Collect and analyze data.
6. Take overall accountability for delivery of program outputs and objectives against targets 
7. Identify crop varieties with commercial potential and encourage adoption by local farmers.
8. Assist in the process of variety registration of newly demonstrated varieties in Ghana.
9. Collect data and analyse results and prepare reports for wide circulation to all interested parties
10. Manage junior Agronomists, contracted labour and other third-party providers of equipment, products and services.
11. Evaluate current practices and identify/propose improvement paths 
12. Provide technical advice to the company’s Ghana’s entire portfolio of projects

Required Skills or Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field
2. 5- 8 years proven Agronomy experience
3. 4- 6 years proven Agriculture Project Management experience
4. Excellent analytical skills with ability to undertake in-field work.
5. Good knowledge and understanding of impact value creation at the business and community levels
6. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team and to deliver results in a time-bound manner
7. Excellent communication skills both written and oral,Smart, proactive, dynamic, solution driven
