Job Description

  • Develop a Master Project Schedule incorporating milestone dates.
  • Track project activities per the Master Schedule, Report on project activities and mitigation strategies in the event of a deviation, Review contractor's mitigation measures and ensure compliance with schedule and milestone dates.
  • Review, analyze and comment on all Contractor program updates.
  • Incorporate updates into Master Program.
  • Develop a contractor submittal schedule including PO release, manufacturing time line, shipping and delivery to site.
  • Report to management on potential impacts to schedule to allow corrective measures to be taken in a timely manner to minimize impacts to project.
  • Prepare detail level schedules for subcontractor fabrication and installation.
  • Prepare procurement schedule/plans.
  • Manage all personnel providing integrated site services (specialist works), space planning, site maintenance, and engineering documentation.
  • Associated information required schedules.
  • Establish project reporting procedures, prepare and present monthly project progress.
  • Review schedule trends to identify problem areas and recommend corrective action to management.
  • Resource planning, milestone and constraints identification, Engineering and procurement monitoring and controlling of Projects.
  • Claim preparation and forensic claim analysis for EOT.
  • Work with QS in reviewing projects progress and cost
  • Prepare and manage project risk register

Required Skills or Experience

  • Project Planner with 5-10 years of experience in Construction Industry, Track record of effective construction and project management projects. Strategic planning, allocation, Controlling / monitoring of Resource utilization in Projects. Resource leveling & coordinating the movement of resources among various aspects. Project cost and budget schedule loading
  • BSc. In Construction or Any Engineering field; Project Management Certificate
  • MS Project, Primavera (added advantage), Negotiation, Planning, Scheduling, Contracts Management, Planning & Projects Control, Strategic Planning, Risk Management.
