Job Description

Recruitment of Consultant to develop PPAG’s Resource Mobilization Strategy.

Background:
The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) is a leading, volunteer supported, grassroots based, nonpartisan and rights-based CSO working in the field of Sexual Reproduction Health and Rights (SRHR) in Ghana. PPAG is a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). The Association works to complement government’s efforts in provision of SRHR information and services the general population particularly adolescents, women, vulnerable groups and including persons living with disability. As part of improving on its resource mobilization efforts, there is the need for the Association to have a detailed Resource Mobilization Strategy that will drive its success over the next three years. PPAG is therefore requesting for proposals from qualified consultancies with proven track record in developing resource mobilization strategies. Purpose: This strategy will serve as the blue print detailing how to improve the resource base and raising the needed resources for the implementation of activities within the association.

Objectives of the consultancy:

A consultant is needed to lead in the development of a Resource Mobilization Strategy. The consultant will perform the following tasks;
 Assess the Association’s current resource mobilization focus, efforts and activities
 Lead in the development of a detailed Resource Mobilization Strategy for the Association with input from management, staff, volunteers and identified stakeholders
 Lead a validation meeting with staff, volunteers and stakeholders inputs for finalization of the draft document.
 Finalized Resource Mobilization Strategy submitted as hard and soft copy to the Executive Director.  
Deliverables:
The association expects the consultant to deliver the following:
1. Initial report outlining methods , work plan with timelines
2. Submit a Draft Report and lead a validation meeting
3. A Multi-Year (3 years) Resource Mobilization Strategy with timelines and costs in soft and hard copies. 

Duration of work: The consultant will work within a one month of 28 days period, starting from date of contract signing. Proposed period is 2nd week of July to 2nd week of August 2021
