Job Description

A Reputable Life Assurance Company is seeking to engage the services of Sales Manager
  • Locations: Accra
  • Reports Directly To: Branch Manager
  • Direct Reports: Sales Executives

 

JOB PURPOSE
Assist the Branch Manager in business development, commercial operations and profitability of the company’s products. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales agents.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing the sales of the company’s products and services in within all geographic areas.
  • Supporting franchises to develop business objectives and annual budgets.
  • Coaching sales agents on how to manage income and expenditure, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Identifying and harnessing new client opportunities, while retaining and upgrading existing customer base.
  • Building strong relationships with key clients of the sales agents and maintaining an accurate database on their clients.
  • Ensure that the sales agents operate within the specified operating procedures and maintains integrity of DLCL.
  • Recommending product lines by identifying new product opportunities, surveying consumer needs and trends, tracking competitors.
  • Liaise with the other business teams in ensuring service excellence and flawless implementation of promotional programs.
  • Ensuring timely review and submission of reports to the appropriate authorities; weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Performing any other duties that may be required.

Required Skills or Experience

Educational Qualification
Minimum of first degree in Marketing or advanced professional qualification from a recognized institution. 
 
Specific Working Experience
At least 3-5 years working experience
