Job Description

A frozen food company located at Hohoe in the volta region seeks to employ a Stores and operational supervisor who would be responsible for the following;

  • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
  • Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
  • Coordinate the handling of equipments and machines to ensure peek performance
  • Coordinating store activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance to company policy
  • Would be involved in the recruitment, orienting and training of employees
  • Periodic taking of stock and preparing pf accounts
  • Maintains store services by organizing store operations and procedures,controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
  • Maintains store efficiency by planning and implementing store systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
  • Designs and implements store policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
  • Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Must have recidence or Willing to relocate to Hohoe (Volta region)
  • Diploma or Degree, or equivalent
  • Two to three (3) years’ experience in a store setting 
  • Proficient with office software
  • Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
  • Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
