Job Description

  • Reports to:  Country Representative
  • Accountable to:   =Country Representative

Job Purpose

To provide administrative support to the company’s activity both local and abroad.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide full administrative support to operations of the Company.
  2. Perform data entry, documentation, printing, letters, memos, minutes writing, reports and filing duties.
  3. Put up purchase requests for all approved purchases for the necessary approvals and verify invoices for the raised purchases upon delivery of goods and services.
  4. Create and maintain useful databases for the department.
  5. Perform research duties and any ad-hoc tasks as required by the company.
  6. Must have knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Produce weekly and monthly reports for management within required deadlines.
  8. Liaise with the Head Quarters in Scotland for upcoming events, promotions, and any other correspondences.
  9. Prepares and sends couriers, orders stationery and supplies for office, handles incoming and outgoing mail, maintains central filing system that includes setting up contracts/correspondence binders.

Required Skills or Experience

Requirements

  1. Minimum Diploma in General Discipline.
  2. Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar role.
  3. Experience in document control management.
  4. Pleasant personality with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proactive, take initiative and well organized.
  6. Able to work fast under pressure.
  7. Mature, with an attention to detail.
  8. Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team.
  9. Good command on English language (both spoken and written).
  10. Ability to do extensive research, write comprehensive essays and personal statements.
  11. Good knowledge in overseas university admission and scholarship processes.

  1. Job Location: Denyame, Kumasi (Ghana)
  2. Successful candidates will have periodic paid visits to the United Kingdom
