Job Description

  • Capture transactions and prepare financial reports.
  • Process payments, manage supplier and customer accounts
  • Analysis and interpretation of all elements of the financial operating result of the company, encompassing turnover, incentives, direct costs, overheads, other income and expenses.
  • Preparation and analysis of all financial information concerning the actual result, forecast, budget and planning round. 
  • This would include, forecast meeting inputs, Finance Review meeting inputs, ad hoc reporting and requests and all other relevant reporting requirements as they may arise.
  • Providing assistance and coordination in implementation and analysis of strategies and initiatives entered into  together with the financial implications these have on the Company.
  • Ensure compliance in respect of financial tasks, directives, initiatives and reporting as imposed by the Compliance Office, as well as Ghana’s corporate compliance regulations.
  • Ensure meetings for corporate financial forums are set up and Vorlages are timeously issued.
  • Prepare KPI Performance Report for Top Management
  • Prepare Financial presentations for Top Management, ad-hoc financial exercises and economic studies as and when required
  • Assist in the preparation and consolidation of cost information for incorporation in the corporate budgets and medium term planning.
  • Coordination, analysis and assessment of various strategic projects and the interpretation of the results and impact on the company.

Required Skills or Experience

  • A recognized 3 year National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/ Financial Management/ Accounting. 
  • A post-graduate qualification/ Honours degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Business Management will be preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years working experience gained in the manufacturing industry in the fields of finance.
  • Good communication skills at all levels

  • Co-ordination and Time management skills
  • Analytical skills – Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, yet being a team player
  • Conflict handling
  • Advanced Computer literacy – Excel, PowerPoint
  • A working knowledge of Essbase and ThinkCell would be advantageous
  • Report writing
  • Knowledge of Macro Economics
  • A working knowledge of any Accounting Software would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Ghana Taxation  system 
  • Knowledge of pricing and costing module
