Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of Financial Reports, Budgeting, Compliance with internal/regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform the maintenance, review of financial records and regularly prepare periodic reports to update management on the Company’s Financial status
  • Responsible for the co-ordination, consolidation, and report on the performance of the various construction projects.
  • Provide monthly management reports and analysis of business operations, projects activities, sales profitability analysis
  • Co-ordinate, review and supervise the work assigned to the Finance function.
  • Perform account analysis, comparisons to project budgets and variance explanations for senior management
  • Supervise the maintenance, reconciliation and budgeting of the company’s Fixed Assets records and project cost accounting
  • Develop and implement control measures and monitoring plans for cost control and operational risk management
  • Manage projects and departments cost allocations and reporting
  • Maintain the accounts payable list, inventory files and all the company’s financial documents in a filing system that ensures the security and confidentiality of every financial file.
  • Manage contractual documents
  • Initiate transactions in the electronic payment system
  • Prepare and maintain a tracking log of all documents received in and released from finance department.
  • Prepare periodic budget, balance sheet and profit&loss forecast.
  • Perform other duties as maybe assigned from time to time

Required Skills or Experience

  • Minimum of 1st Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • ACCA/CIMA Member
  • Minimum 5 years working experience especially in the construction industry
  • Project budget preparation and costing
