Job Description

Role Purpose
The SBDM delivers sales advice and administration, through face to face, phone, or door to door channels, which drive the sales of products and services directly to either consumers or business customers. Focusing on new business and developing existing customer accounts for higher penetration through customer account management. The SBDM has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in business dealings, negotiations and signing up contracts and identifies opportunities and strategies to win business from the customers. The SBDM will be responsible for overseeing some business portfolios in the company and to ensure the revenue targets for these portfolios are met.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop sales documentation and sales strategies for products assigned and clearly define customers, competitors, technology and market trends.
  • Develop sales process and sales methodology for the assigned product portfolio.
  • Will be responsible for data collection and integration, market analysis, user research and user feedback to strategize for the various products.
  • Monitor competing offers and products.
  • Prepare contents around products to support marketing.
  • Develop pitch documents, proposals / presentations for potential clients.
  • Strategically identify and reach potential clients to offer our products.
  • Monitor existing client needs and opportunities to appropriately cross-sell products.
  • Observe and understand Industry behavior/trends.
  • Maintain & develop relationships with potential leads and clients.
  • Regularly keep in contact with existing clients to keep them updated and inform them about new opportunities.
  • Respond to client’s enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Monitor product targets and report on them weekly.
  • Liaise internally with other departments for updates on product or pricing
  • Coordinate with client and internal departments to assist with implementation & technical set up including customization requests.
  • Own, drive, and focus on delivery of business value and content of the assigned product

Required Skills or Experience

  • Experience in dealing with Software as a service / Telecom / Mobile VAS / Mobile APPs / Bulk sms / Payment Platforms
  • 3-5 years of similar domain/industry experience with 4-7 years in sales and marketing.
  • Very good communication skills (written & verbal) in English.
  • Ability to present proposals to clients in a crisp manner with clarity of thoughts.
  • Good customer interaction & negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently with self-discipline and motivation

Qualification:

  • Minimum of Undergraduate Degree or HND.
