Job Description

A fast-growing fashion company is looking for talented and motivated staff to work in its shop located in Tema Community 25.   

  • Oversee day-to-day sales, monitoring, and account for all daily sales
  • Supervise Sales Associates and ensuring that staff clean the shop area and dusting of all products at all times
  • Overseeing pricing and stock control, checking stock levels and report to CEO
  • Ensuring monthly stocktaking is conducted and reported to CEO
  • Responsible for managing the company’s social media platforms
  • Posting products on the company’s social media platforms – minimum of five posts a day
  • Responsible for responding to customers feedback and comments on the social media platforms
  • Managing employees and employee schedules 
  • Ensuring that staff give excellent customers service
  • Providing customer assistance
  • Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships that add value
  • Be responsible for filing of documents
  • Ensure the enforcement and maintenance of company policies and procedures
  • Ensure the maintenance of client database for regular follow ups and update
  • Handle statutory payments (SSNIT and GRA)
  • Making sure that health and safety protocols are being maintained at all times
  • Ensure the company maintains a brand that attracts and sells
  • Be innovative and share ideas to increase sales
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to assess current projections

Required Skills or Experience

  • Experience leading a team within a retail setting
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Awareness of what sells and why
  • Understanding of what motivates employees
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
  • Firm understanding of sales, promotions, trends, retail markets, and merchandising
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience creating and maintaining employee work scheduling
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems
  • Mathematics and financial knowledge
  • Smart in appearance and articulate
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and during public holidays when necessary
  • 3+ years' experience in sales, marketing, fashion or related field
  • Bachelor's degree or HND in business, marketing or related field
  • Must be resident in Tema
