Job Description

The commercial finance manager role will support the organisation with financial analysis, business cases, proposal development, and support the sales and marketing teams with key decision-making. The role will also own the reporting cycles and provide leadership in the business planning process. 
 

• Provide commercial and financial support and oversight to achieve company goals
• Perform financial analysis on new service development and business case evaluations 
• Ensure that all proposals are commercially evaluated and vigorously challenged, including post-investment reviews.
• Develop and maintain regular reporting packages, including monthly/quarterly forecast plans, and customer/ order information
• Actively participate in quarterly business reviews and manage the budget, quarterly and longer-term planning cycles
• Ensure that all accounting requirements are implemented according to best practice
• Prepare periodic tax processes and ensure overall statutory financial compliance.

Required Skills or Experience

• Master’s degree in Finance, Corporate Finance, Accounting
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role 
• Audit background and experience will be an advantage
• Good demonstration of financial management and budgeting skills.
• Demonstrated accountancy and financial reporting experience including accounts production and presentation.
• Strong collaboration, presentation, and communication skills 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suit and applicable accountancy software
