Recruitment of a Consultant to Conduct a Study on Tax Administration Efficiency in Ghana
Terms of Reference
Introduction The mandate demands that the GRA has to identify taxpayers for assessment and collection of taxes due to the state. To carry out this mandate successfully, there is the need for the tax administration system of the GRA to be efficient. The GRA needs to have adequate and experienced personnel for the administration of taxes. There should be continuous in-service training programs and seminars for staff on best practices in tax systems. The GRA should also have the resources to provide adequate and relevant tax education to the public The above capabilities are important indicators to determine the level of efficiency of the tax administration system of Ghana.
