Job Description

Technical Responsibilities

  • Drive the company's financial planning.
  • Perform risk management by analysing the organization's liabilities and investments.
  • Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns and governmental agency report.
  • Oversee the operations and development of the company's finance department including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
  • Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company's status and financial forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion into new product areas.
  • Manage and retain relationships with vendors.
  • Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports

Required Skills or Experience

  • Must have worked with a payment system organization
  • Must possess a Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
  • Should be 2nd in command in current organization
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the same or similar role.
  • Professional certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (especially Excel).
  • Must have working experience in banking or in the payment services industry.
  • Must have hands-on experience with financial management software.
  • Must have hands-on experience with risk management.
  • Excellent time management, communication, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
