PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• To manage the eTranzact Network Infrastructure which includes both electronic and physical assets

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administering routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other wireless devices.
• Administering servers, laptops, printers, security updates and patches, and other IT systems.
• Configuring and monitoring network connections to ensure security and availability to internal servers, third party institutions, and specific users.
• Installing new hardware (servers, laptops, network equipment, etc.)
• Maintaining Active Directory (setting up user accounts, permissions, and passwords).
• Monitoring onsite server backup and offsite storage (Backup tape management)
• Implementing and maintaining offsite disaster, and recovery for business continuity.
• Managing the company’s data center.
• Providing documentation on network architecture, servers’ specifications.
• Backup/ recovery procedure and other system-related information.
• Assisting staff to resolve computer-related issues.
• Continuously monitoring and reporting the availability, performance, and capacity of IT resources.
• Ensure proper change management, incidence reporting and management of systems.
• Comply with all eTranzact’s information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines in the discharge of your duties.
• To perform any other duty as assigned in line with the organization’s goals and objectives.

Required Skills or Experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)

• Knowledge of CISCO devices
• Knowledge of Linus
• Knowledge of windows server implementation
• Very good knowledge of Enterprise Network Architectures

RELEVANT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in any discipline + CISCO Certification
• At least 2 years in Enterprise Network Management
