OVERVIEW

A Furniture retail company is looking for a capable professional to join their team as a <span style="&quot;color:rgb(0," 0,="" 0)"="">Furniture Assembly Technician: you will be responsible for loading and unloading the truck, installing furniture according to the directions you receive and assembling items on-site. You will also help prep the job site and clean up after the installation is complete.

Founded in 1993, our client is a leader in the retail and supply of furniture in Africa. The company has a retail shop area of more than 50,000m2, 33 points of sale with more than 1,000 employees and 2 stores in sub-Saharan Africa. Ghana is the latest addition and Accra is the starting city.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assemble furniture as needed
• Install furniture according to blueprints
• Mount cabinets and bookshelves
• Prep and clean up the job site

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of Diploma
• A minimum of 5 years working experience in same role
• Commercial driver’s license
• Familiarity with basic hand tools
• Ability to follow directions
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Physical strength to perform heavy lifting
• Mechanical skills
• All applicants must have the physical ability to load and unload furniture items from the delivery truck
