Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The successful candidate shall be responsible for planning and directing the activities of the finance and accounting department. The role reports to the CEO.

ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year.
Provide financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions and contract negotiations.
Process payroll and ensure payment of statutory deductions/payments for the organization and staff.
Accomplish human resource objectives by orienting, training, assigning, coaching; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job duties of team members.

Required Skills or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
Minimum of 4 relevant work experience in reporting & financial management.
Must be a licensed/certified Accountant.
Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
Knowledge of financial regulations.
