Job Description As the leading global partner for the Momentum Country and Global Leadership program, MCGL is a five-year USAID funded global award that works with country governments and local non-governmental organizations to provide targeted technical and capacity development assistance. MCGL builds upon existing evidence and best practices and catalyzes innovations that enable government-led partnerships to deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions that accelerate reductions in maternal, newborn, and child mortality and morbidity at scale. The project also contributes to global technical leadership, learning, and USAID’s policy dialogue to achieve global maternal, newborn, and child health, voluntary family planning, and reproductive health (MNCH/FP/RH) goals by supporting globally endorsed initiatives, strategies, frameworks, guidelines, and action plans. We are currently looking for dynamic individuals to fill the following positions:
Job Overview
The Master Mentor/Clinical Officer will assist the MCGL Clinical Advisor for Nursing and Midwifery, the MCGL Technical Director, Jhpiego staff, Donors, Ghana Health Service and other relevant stakeholders by with the implementation, project management and technical support for MCGL Clinical Care and Critical Care activities/projects being implemented at the national, regional, district and primary health care level. This includes assisting with the development of work plans, liaising with Ministry staff, other partners and donors regarding implementation, monitoring and evaluation of project milestones and targets.
