Cardinal Namdini Mining Limited (CNML) is a subsidiary of Shandong Gold Mining Co. Ltd., which is duly listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE). CNML is developing its’ primary asset located in the Upper East Region of Ghana with a strategic vision to build a world-leading, highly valuable and responsible world-class gold mining enterprise.
Job Description
- Location: Mine Site (Bolgatanga)
- Section/ Unit: IT (Information Technology)
- Department: Finance and Energy, Automation and information Technology
- Job reports to: Directly to IT Superintendent & dotted line to the Finance Manager
- Direct Reports: None
Job Purpose
To ensure continuous use of the ERP solution (SAP) by assisting with end-to-end implementation of enhancement and providing first line support.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Facilitate new implementations and support same
- Participate in ERP process governance processes and prepare position papers. This includes assisting in defining functional and integration scopes for company Finance, Supply Chain and Project Management systems solutions
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team
- Proactively identify and propose business process and or system enhancement
- Document functional designs, test cases and results
- Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions. This includes providing end user application support.
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements when necessary. This includes providing ad-hoc training and user support as required
- Provide data processing solutions and assistance to resolve inconsistencies when necessary.
- Installation of application software
- Performs any other related duties based on the exigencies of the Company as assigned by the Supervisor
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
- Degree in Accounting/ Finance, IT, Engineering or social science discipline
- Experience in use of systems in accounting domain in Ghana in Ghana with a multinational organization in Ghana
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar position, including 5 years in Mining sector
- Experience with Systems Audit in the accounting/ finance and other relevant domains
- Knowledge in accounting and an understanding of how ERP system is implemented or enhanced to align with accounting standards
- Exposure to SAP and other ERP systems
- Troubleshooting and proposing systems solutions to challenges
