• Location: Airport City. SSNIT Emporium, 3^rd Floor North

An ISP company has immediate employment for a motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Accountant to help with the daily operations of the company.

ROLE PROFILE
The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling financial statements, calculating tax payments and returns, communicating effectively with customers regarding credit matters, making critical financial decisions by analysing and interpreting accounting records and preparing comprehensive financial reports to help the company maintain strong customer relationships and attain financial success. He or she would perform the following additional duties

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions, including processing bills and expenses.
• Update and maintain the general ledger, recording debits and credits.
• Weekly reconciliation of entries between bank statements and Company’s accounting system.
• Support the team on access and utilization of the financial system .
• Produce weekly reports on accounts receivables and accounts payables.
• Support the operation’s team with payments and collections.
• Act as a gatekeeper to ensure that processes around general expenses and revenue booking are respected (approval workflow, taxes, booking)
• Support the team in implementing monthly closing and yearly closing
• Assist with Value Added Tax documentation. Support company’s compliance with the local tax authority and regulatory legislation.
• Prepare monthly Financial reports.
• Other ad hoc duties related to accounting.

Required Skills or Experience

• Minimum HND/Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role
• Strong analytical skills and a team player
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision
• Must know how to use Accounting Software (Tally, Quickbooks)
