Job Description

We seek a motivated and driven Business Development Manager to join our company in Accra, Ghana. In this role, you will spearhead our growth initiatives, engaging with businesses, meeting clients, presenting proposals, negotiating terms, and finalizing agreements with companies of various scales.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing your own sales pipeline, including prospecting, leading meetings/negotiations, and closing deals with business stakeholders in all industries.
  • Negotiating and closing deals: your main focus will be on sales, negotiating with clients daily, winning deals, and bringing new revenue to the company.
  • Proactively selling Company Business solutions into the business space.
  • Achieving growth and surpassing sales targets, with an uncapped commission scheme allowing for significant earnings.
  • Building and fostering strong customer relationships by collaborating with key stakeholders and understanding their needs.
  • Developing major clients, finalizing deals, and transitioning them to the account management team.
  • Working closely with the product team to provide market feedback on Company Business solutions and guide product development.
  • Presenting sales and revenue forecasts to the management team, keeping them informed of progress and successes.
  • Identifying emerging markets, opportunities, and shifts in the industry landscape, and ensuring appropriate responses to maintain competitiveness.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Possess 2-4+ years of dynamic B2B sales experience.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to sales, consistently striving to secure and finalize deals daily.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, a structured approach, and a deep understanding of B2B sales methodologies.
  • Display self-initiative, capable of independently cultivating and managing a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Showcase exceptional communication abilities in both English and the local language, with a confident demeanor.
  • Demonstrate a keen business acumen and industry knowledge in selling business services to SMEs and large enterprises.
  • Utilize CRM tools effectively, with experience preferably in Salesforce.
  • Previous experience in client onboarding and account management, particularly with larger contracts, is advantageous.
  • Take ownership and actively seek solutions to business challenges.
