The PROSPER III Project seeks to increase food production, productivity and income in ways that are resilient to climate change whiles empowering women, improving nutrition-sensitive agriculture, and reducing environmental impact reaching a direct target of 95,200 people. The project will be managed from the Kumasi sub-office of CARE International in Ghana. The key Project Objectives are to: The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Specialist is responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of the monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning framework of the PROSPER III project. S/He will work with the Project Manager to establish sound reflective practices as a basis for the advancement of project objectives. The MEAL Specialist will supervise and coordinate data collection activities at the project communities and district levels and provide technical backstopping. S/He will build the capacity of field teams to monitor project implementation and measure any changes and lessons in the project’s operational areas. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
