The IT Service Engineer will have the responsibility for IT matters relating to field/roadside equipment, devices and software.

• Keep complex software working at all times.
• Provide 2^nd and 3^rd line support on our roadside camera and detection systems to guarantee a high system uptime.
• Handling support tickets.
• Provide technical training to our client.
• Reproduce technical issues and liaise with technical colleagues to resolve those issues.
• Identify and troubleshoot root causes of any breakdowns.
• Provide rapid response to technical challenges and queries.
• Monitor and test equipment to assess performance.
• Maintains a flexible schedule to accommodate unforeseen events.
• Any other duties assigned.

Required Skills or Experience

• Experience in the following technologies:
  • TCP/IP networking including DNS, VPN, firewalls, and modems.
  • Linux operating system
  • Remote desktop
  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with one or more scripting languages
• A bachelor’s degree in IT.
• At least 5 years’ experience Back Office Agent Interview as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Hands on attitude.
• Experience in interacting with external parties, both technical and non-technical.
• Willing and able to navigate any type of problem.
• Trustworthy, reliable, curious and not afraid to make decisions.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
